Summerr

Summer is just flying by. July came and went so fast. The highlights were meeting Eric's mom and Kerry moving here! There were a ton of other great things, but those were the major ones. I also bought the 2 month unlimited dance package from Vega Dance Lab and I have been trying to go at least 6 classes a week. It feels great and I am feeling pretty awesome about getting back in to shape and regaining flexibility. My mom visited this past weekend with my step dad and they got to meet Eric. It went well! Just another week and a half before our journey to California to go to the cabin with my brother. I am so excited about getting out of town with Eric and the pups for a few days.

Portland summer which has only been going on strong for about a month has been awesome. It mostly stays in the high 70s and sometimes gets into the 80s but apparently its been a pretty mild summer for the place. This past weekend it reached 100 and I was definitely not prepared. We made the most of it and went kayaking on the Willamette with my parents.

The next few months are probably going to continue the whirlwind that is summer. Eric and I have our CA trip in a little over a week, MFNW in the beginning of summer, Eric's birthday is Sept. 8th, and then my lease will be up at the end of September and I am definitely looking for a new place.
So without further ado here are my August goals:

1. Have an awesome trip with Eric and my pups, Emily, to California to visit my brother and go to the cabin. (The goal here would be minimal fighting!!)

2. Start looking for a place to live--this will probably carry over to september since i am not looking to overlap rents

3. Send gem a birthday present!! Holy crap gotta do this one quick!

4. Buy Eric a birthday present

5. Apply for 5 jobs/internships. Man I really need to figure out what "career path" would suit me. Its starting to really scare me that I have no direction
