2014 Resolutions

I plan on making this year count and since I'm a planner that means I need to set some pretty hefty goals for myself. I hope to make this year a year of transition. I am determined to do some growing this year in all aspects of my life.

1. Get a job that means something to me!- This is still at the top of the list.

2. Travel abroad. Eric and I have been discussing a trip to Thailand.

3. Design my own pattern and make it. -I'm already attempting to do this, but I have no idea what I am doing. This one may require me taking a sewing class at a local shop.

4. Get my surger in working order. Have it threaded and tuned up by a professional- This is sort of tied together with the previous resolution. I really want to sew more and having my surger working will be great motivation.

5. Continue taking 4+ dance classes a week. - I don't feel like I need to put this on here anymore because going dance is such an awesome routine part of my life now, but it's nice to have a fitness related goal.

6. Post more in this blog!-I always have this goal set for myself, but can't seem to follow through. I need to set a day and time where I can sit and write a post. Once a week will be my goal for now, if I am able to actually follow through with that then I can try and step it up.

7. Finish French Rosetta Stone (levels 1-3)- I am only on Level 1 Unit 3 (out of 4) so I got a ways to go!

8. Go on a road trip with Eric where we take our bikes and bike around a different city!.-This one involves us getting a bike rack for Eric's car, but we're always wanting to take our bikes with us wherever we go so I think this is a really fun resolution.

There are my 8 resolutions! I think I have set myself some great realistic goals. I know that I will also be setting smaller monthly goals which I will also post. I am just constantly setting goals or writing to do list for myself, I just love to plan! Anyways, here's to a new year. May we all cultivate kaisen.
